I cannot go a day without chocolate in some form, whether it be in my coffee, as a pure dark chocolate bar or in a fun candy. Did you know that you can make chocolate candies in a slow cooker? With just five ingredients, five easy steps and one hour of slowly melting the chocolate in the slow cooker, this recipe is the stress-free way to get your daily chocolate fix. Chocolate addicts unite!
This recipe is as easy as dumping pecans and chocolate chips in a slow cooker and letting it all melt for an hour. Add chewy caramel candies, spoon onto parchment and cool in the fridge. That's it! In less than two hours, you have nutty morsels of chocolate. The pecans give these candies a wonderful texture, while the almond sprinkles give them great crunch. Finally, the caramel bits add milky-sweet creaminess. This recipe also works great with just about any type of nut. Peanuts, hazelnuts and walnuts are all great alternatives. Enjoy!
